DESCRIPTION:writing workshop and free text group \nworkshop \n26/12/2022-15/2/2023 \n11.00AM-1.00PM \n@khb library \nwith Jens Voigt \n  \nWriting workshop \nArt needs language! But which one? And how do I develop an ‘appropriate’ language or write a successful text about my artistic or creative work? \nHow can artistic processes\, artworks or exhibitions be reflected on in an appropriate way – both orally and in writing – and how can they be successfully presented and communicated in different contexts\, e.g. in an application text? \nThe workshop aims to offer help and guidance with these and other questions. There are different formats for this: \n1) In various short workshops throughout the semester\, specific questions on the topic of language\, writing and text production are dealt with in a practical way. This semester will start with a workshop on ‘How to write an artist statement’ on 16 November. \n2) In writing counselling\, trained writing tutors support you in 1-to-1 conversations in the process of your written work. All text types (from application letters\, exhibition texts to dissertations)\, disciplines and writing levels are welcome. Consultation can be repeated at any stage of your current text. \n3) In the text group\, your own (text) work can be presented\, discussed and mutually fed back. The group generally provides a forum for talking about writing and reading experiences and their relation to artistic practice. \nThe various offers will take place in the winter semester 22/23 usually on Wednesdays from 11-13h in the KHB library.
